As we approach Thanksgiving Break, teachers' deadlines require that they have a certain amount of grades; and us students can tell! The past 3 weeks have been jam-packed with quizzes, projects, tests and assessments, and the upcoming weeks are only going to be worse. In fact, this week entails 3 tests, multiple history projects, an english seminar, the ISM speech and a mountain of homework. The next 5 days will be a testament to my dedication, focus and perserverance. I will need to efficiently manage my time, minimize distractions while doing homework, stay calm and energized under the pressure of timed tests and writings, and maintain a healthy sleep cycle. Aside from all of this, I am confident that, throughout my week, I'll be able to stay relaxed and minimize stress thanks to my meditation and mindfulness habits, as well as daily excercise. As Hans Selye once said, "Its not the stress that kills us, but our reaction to it."
After writing this, I think that this blog is a wonderful way to plan out my week and ensure that I succeed. In doing so, perhaps I can motivate any readers of mine to manage their time and work alongside me!
